NASHVILLE:ITALY WINS THE AWARD FOR THE BEST ENTREMET
AT the WTCP “WORLD PASTRY TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS” in Nashville the
Italian team wins the best entremet and the best entremet ice-creamAt the WORLD PASTRY TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP, which took place on 31 August and 1 September at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee (United States), first prize was won by the USA, followed by Japan and Switzerland.
Despite the great team work, the elegantly prepared table, the unanimous votes received from all those present and above all the maximum number of votes received for the two entremets, Italy was placed forth only 7 hundredths of a point behind third place. The result is slightly disappointing but it was definitely a worthwhile experience.
After 6 months of intense training, ROBERTO RINALDINI (captain), FABRIZIO GALLA and ROSSANO VINCIARELLI represented Italy in a highly professional manner at this very important competition, under the supervision of the trainers-jury IGINIO MASSARI, GINO FABBRI and BIAGIO SETTEPANI
The commitment and hard training was only possible thanks to the dedication, passion and energy of the three competitors, the trainers and coordinating group and above all thanks to the sensitivity of the sponsors: FUGAR, AGRIMONTANA, PIEMONTE REGION, MCM MASSA, PROVINCE OF RIMINI, IRINOX, CHOCOLAT FORM, PAVONI, MAISON DOLCI, PLUSIA and ICAM. In addition to AMPI, CAST ALIMENTI and PASTICCERIA INTERNAZIONALE who are also promoters.
Team Italy has honoured the Italian image, highlighting the quality that marks just how outstanding we are in the world of pastry – skilfulness, elegance and creativity – earning enthusiastic accolades from spectators, colleagues, sponsors and the mass media.

2008 World Champions... 2008 World Champions... 2008 World Champions!After last year’s success as a competitor, Roberto Rinaldini has once again achieved top spot as world champion coach at the World ice cup competition.
The team was made up of: Gabriele Ferro, Felice Nichilo, Gaetano Mignano and Lucia Sapia and achieved top spot on the podium, with France ranked second and Switzerland third.
WORLD CUP ICE CREAM 2006
For the first time in history Italy wins the World Ice-Cream Championship at the Sigep in Rimini. The team was made up of Roberto Rinaldini, Beppo Tonon and Sergio Colalucci and achieved first place, France was placed second and Argentina third.
